·        Follow General Tips as applicable

·        Do not gut bird

·        Carry and handle gently, do not break feathers

·        Do not wring neck

·        Gently rinse blood from bird using cold water

·        Fold head against body or tuck under wing and place in plastic bag – force as much air out as possible and freeze
